A book blogger pays for them via coherent, organized, thoughtful and honest review.
The eARCs on NetGalley aren't "free", I tell you. Every publisher who approves your galley request is laying hope in you for a proper, if not professional, review.
It's a privilege to read these miracles-on-paper ahead of time, yes, but it's also a vocation. Everybody, once in a while, needs a reminder that it's your duty to review the books.
Does it sound too much like a job? Then you shouldn't be book blogging.God knows there are enough of us out in the webosphere. Just please don't call these books free.
Okay, end rant. The noob is going to be quiet now. :)
